I guess this was a minor concern with me (and maybe others) due
to access to [;^)] other machines. I do not own a parallel printer.

For example, my external disk drive is a VAXcluster and my printer
is a LPS40 attached to the network.

On another front, I hardly ever print anything. Most of the time
I create a document on the UL and then transfer to the VAX. Once
it is on the VAX the document is used in MAIL, NEWS or stored for
later use.
