Date problems.

Every once in a while, when I power up my UltraLite, the clock
has been trashed. (It usually says that the date is back in
1980, but sometimes it jumps ahead a few years.)

The problem seems to be related to unplugging the power brick
(or commercial power failures).

Has anyone else seen this happen?

NEC "technical support" was no help at all.

Also, I have had problems with comm programs hanging when I use
the internal modem at 2400bps, but no problems using external V.32
modems. The hang with the internal modem does not happen if I
set the CPU speed to slow. Any one else seen this?

Thanks.
