It sounds like a useful product for something like an UltraLite with its
640KB limit. The "Auto" feature would be especially nice if the suspend
feature could be invoked automagically by the UltraLite's "low power" warning.
The StayAround brochure says that at least 10MB of hard disk is needed,
and the StayAround Auto brochure says 20MB. I called North Shore to
ask them if it can be stripped down to work on an UltraLite, and left
my inquiry on their answering machine (!).
While I await their call, I thought I'd see if anyone out there has used
this product on the UltraLite or other computers.
