If you've been using MetaCard 2.1.2B2, we strongly recommend upgrading
to this release at your earliest convenience. There was a problem
playing videoClips in that release that may cause crashes or even
stack corruption.
This release is primarily a bug fix release over 2.1.2B2, but (as
usual) a few new features did sneak in:
1) Audio in formats other than mulaw is now supported on the SPARC and
SPARCSVR4 engines. Depending on hardware capabilities (which varies
depending on model), this includes most sampling rates up to and
including CD-quality.
2) A few new RIFF/WAVE header variations are supported.
3) The htmlText property of fields now supports a much more useful set
of HTML tags, including support for font, size, and color changes.
See the file README.2.1.2 for the full list of features added since
2.1.1.
