I've already said this to Scott, but I thought I would say it publically
too. The free email tech-support with MC is so good that no-one ever
seems to need to use this list! In my case, i've exchanged *literaly*
several hundred emails with Scott Raney over the last 10 months or so,
and there must be others who have exchanged plenty too. Whilst some of
it is bug reporting and a lot of it is discussion of contract work, etc.,
there are a fair number of tech support questions in there as well.

The free support is fast and efficient, but it creates the false
impression MetaCard is a ghost product - lurking around with hardly any
users. Other products have very good and active lists, and there is a
real sense of community built up by this.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for people to post to this list with tech
support questions more often? Its still perfectly possible for Scott to
answer them here :-), but others may join the discussion too, and may
often be able to answer questions, discuss product improvement, etc.

I've become something of an evangalist for MetaCard recently
(particularly the scripting side of the program) and think it would be
great if there was an on-going and active list. If you agree, start
posting to it!
