answer file

I'd like to open a dialog box using the "answer file" script but set the
path to a directory other than the current one. So, being in the
/usr/simon/MetaCard directory I'd like to do something like "answer file
([optionalPath],"Please select a file") with "*.txt".

Can I do this?
