What platform are you running on? The display of postscript images does
not work on all of the platforms that MetaCard supports. If the DPS
extension is installed properly, this should work on SGI and IBM RS6000
workstations, and maybe a few others.

I would suggest that you create a graphic object for this purpose. Setting
the endpoints of your line within a loop could give the appearance of
animation. Sorry I can't provide more details on this one, but I haven't
used the graphic object much.
