Can unlicenced users save anything (eg field contents, cards) ?

Somewhere I remember reading that unlicenced users could create new
cards, for example in a data base or address stack. But even in the tutorial
example of the address stack, these cards are not saved unless the user is
licenced.

Is there some way of doing this ? The only way I can think of is to write
the new data to a file, and re-read this file when the stack is opened. Messy.

While I'm asking, I can't see how to return a word that ends in a non-alphabetic
character when I click on it. eg. how do I return 'Cu2+' by clicking on
this list:

Cu Cu1+ Cu2+ Cu3+ Ba etc ...

Something to do with defining the word seperators ?
