Image Color Changes

I have an image with an outline (box with line width = 4) surrounding part
of the image. The outline box is blue (palette name = blue). Now for the
problem.

When I open the card (cards in other stacks do the same thing), the box
color is black instead of blue. If I select the editing tool (arrow
cursor from the tools menu) and click on the outline box image, the image
goes back to the blue that I expected. Any ideas on why the palette is
having problems? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

BTW, I am using a Sun SPARC station.
