1. Get version 1.3A5 of Metacard.
2. ftped the stack from the mac into my Unix directory.
3. ./mc
4. In message box typed: go "filename"
but I still get the error message:
./mc: out of memory
MetaCard exiting on signal 11
5. Also tried typing in message box: import stack from "filename"
but I still get the error message:
./mc: out of memory
MetaCard exiting on signal 11
Some notes about my stack:
We wanted to be sure that we can import hypercard stacks to MetaCard before
we purchased MetaCard. The stack that I have is a sample recipe stack taken
from hypercard. After I ftped it to Unix, the file is 229376 bytes. This is
much less than the Toptics.mc demo which runs fine. Any ideas on what I might
be doing wrong?
