I evaluated MetaCard for the purpose of getting one HyperCard stack,
potentially useful for backcross breeding in crops, to run on several
SUNs in Ciba. It didn't, but I was impressed enough with what I saw
it could do to order a copy. Now, as of the most recent test release,
the old stack might just run afterall! Of course the underlying
algorithm has been deemed "not wholly suitable" for our purposes, but
what the heck.
Now, I guess, I'm just a solution looking for a problem. This isn't to
say that I'm not swamped with other things, namely Oracle database
design and administration for a biotechnology site in a large seed
company!
