Brian Smithson has enjoyed over 25 years in electronics, computers, and Internet firms, ranging from embedded systems engineering to application service providers and from startups to the Fortune 50. He joined Ricoh in 2004 and leads several product security initiatives. He is Ricoh's primary representative to the IEEE P2600 Standard working group in which he is the lead editor for protection profile development. He also represents Ricoh to the Hardcopy Workgroup of the Trusted Computing Group.
